Privacy Policy

We collect as little as the site can function on. This is an adult directory, and browsing history here is unusually sensitive — so this policy describes what actually happens in our code rather than reserving broad rights we do not use.

What we collect

Outbound click records. When you click through to a listed site we record: which site, the language version of the page you were on, a two-letter country code, the referring page, a device category (mobile, desktop, tablet), a flag for automated traffic, and a timestamp. This is what produces the popularity rankings.

We do not store your IP address with these records. The country code is derived at the moment of the click and the address itself is discarded.

Aggregate analytics. Page views, referrer and device type, in aggregate. Not tied to an identifier that follows you.

Site submissions. If you submit a site through our form, we store what you typed: the URL, site name, suggested category, your description, and your email address if you chose to provide one. We also store a cryptographic hash of your IP address and your browser's user agent string. The hash lets us count submissions from the same source to prevent abuse; it cannot be reversed to recover the address.

Browser storage. Two flags are kept in your browser and never sent to us: confirmation that you passed the age notice, and dismissal of the language suggestion banner.

What we deliberately do not collect

• No account is required to browse, and we do not offer one to visitors.
• We do not store full IP addresses against click history.
• We do not build a profile of what you looked at.
• We do not sell, rent or share data with data brokers.
• We do not use cross-site tracking pixels of our own.

Cookies

We do not set advertising or analytics cookies of our own. The age confirmation and language preference use browser local storage, not cookies, and never leave your device.

Where advertising is served on this site, the advertising provider may set its own cookies. Where the law requires consent for that, we ask before those scripts load.

Third-party sites

Every outbound link takes you to an independent website. Once you leave xsites.network, this policy no longer applies — that site's own policy does, and we have no control over or visibility into what it collects.

Some outbound links carry a referral parameter identifying xsites.network as the source. That parameter identifies this site, not you.

How long we keep things

• Click records: retained in detail for 90 days, then kept only as aggregate counts with no per-click row.
• Site submissions: retained while the submission is under review and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we do not reprocess the same site repeatedly.
• Aggregate analytics: retained indefinitely, because it contains no identifier.

Where data is stored

On our own server infrastructure. The database is not shared with third-party analytics platforms.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, the UK, California, Brazil or another jurisdiction with comparable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and object to processing.

Given how little we collect, the honest answer to most such requests is that we hold nothing about you: without an account and without stored IP addresses, there is usually no record connected to you to retrieve. The exception is a site submission, which is connected to the email address you provided.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 18, and the site is labelled for parental filtering software.

If this policy changes materially, the updated date below changes with it.
