What is Pure Taboo?
Pure Taboo is a premium studio producing scripted taboo-fantasy content — dark scenarios, psychological setups, frequently multi-part — shot as short drama rather than as scenes with a premise attached. It sits inside the Gamma Entertainment group alongside Girlsway and Adult Time.
Releases are weekly and individually substantial.
How does it handle the genre's central problem?
Explicitly. The genre depends on fictional relationships and coercive premises, and the line between a roleplay studio and something that should not exist is entirely about whether that fiction is stated or blurred. Pure Taboo states it: performers are credited, scenarios are presented as written fiction, and the production publishes behind-the-scenes material in which performers discuss the scenes out of character.
That last element does the same work as Kink.com's post-scene interviews. It is the most reliable signal available that what you are watching was negotiated, and it is why this studio is listed while several of its competitors are not.
Is the writing actually good?
Better than the genre requires, which is a low bar cleared with room. Scenarios have act structure, dialogue carries the setup, and the multi-part arcs pay off rather than just continuing. Direction is competent and the performances are rehearsed rather than improvised around a premise.
It is not Hitchcock. It is a great deal more than "two people and a tag".
What did we measure?
A 2,012ms response on a 32KB document — slow to first byte on a very light page, so the delay is server-side. The document declares a mobile viewport and advertises 4K, but served no <title> tag, meaning the page is JavaScript-assembled.

How does it compare to MissaX?
They are the two studios doing this properly and they differ in register. MissaX is warmer and more domestic; Pure Taboo is darker, more psychological and considerably harder. Both script, both rehearse, both frame the fiction explicitly.
If you want the genre written rather than tagged, those are the two names, and which you prefer is a matter of how dark you want it.
Should you subscribe?
If the genre appeals and you want it made with actual craft and actual care about framing, this is one of the two studios doing that. It is also available inside the wider Adult Time subscription, which is usually the better route than buying it alone.
