What is Slayed?
Slayed is the all-girl studio in the Vixen Media Group, launched in 2019. It applies the group's production standard — location shooting, cinema-grade lighting, colour work, unhurried editing — to lesbian content, which is a category that historically received the industry's smallest budgets.
Releases are infrequent by network standards and long by any standard.
Why does budget change this category specifically?
Because lesbian content has been chronically underfunded. For decades it was shot as a cheap add-on to hardcore catalogues, frequently framed for a male viewer rather than for the performers in it, on a fraction of the budget of the studio's main line. That produced a category where the ceiling was set by economics rather than by interest.
Slayed removes that constraint, and the difference is immediate: scenes that build, performers given room to perform, and lighting that treats the material as worth lighting.
How does it compare to Girlsway?
They are the two serious all-girl studios and they solve different problems. Girlsway is the larger catalogue, built on recurring series and multi-part story arcs, releasing weekly. Slayed releases less often and spends far more per scene, with no serialisation at all.
Girlsway if you want a library and a narrative to follow; Slayed if you want individual scenes made properly. Both is not an unreasonable answer.
What we could not verify
Our automated check was refused with a 403, as with every Vixen Media Group property in this block. No measured response time, page weight, ad-network scan or compliance confirmation, and no "last checked" date on the page.
What does it cost?
Top-of-market, and the catalogue is small relative to the price because the release pace is deliberately slow. That maths works only if the production quality is what you are buying, which is the whole proposition — and it is why group access is the better route for most people.
Should you subscribe?
If you want all-girl content made with real money behind it, this is the only studio doing it at this level. If you want volume or serialisation, Girlsway is the better catalogue and it is not close.
