What is FreeOnes?
FreeOnes is a performer database, online since 1998 and one of the oldest adult sites still operating. It holds tens of thousands of performer profiles with biographies, filmographies, links and galleries, plus community ratings and comments accumulated over more than two decades.
It answers a specific question — who is this, and what else are they in — better than anything else free.
Why does a performer database matter?
Because the alternative is guessing. Adult content is indexed by act and studio far more than by person, so tracing a performer across studios, years and name changes is genuinely hard without a reference layer. FreeOnes maintains the cross-references, and the filmography links actually resolve.
Starting from a name and nothing else, this is the right first stop.
How current is the data?
Uneven, and this is the main limitation. Coverage is strongest for mainstream Western performers and thins noticeably outside that. Some profiles have not been meaningfully updated in years, and the community ratings skew toward whoever was popular when the page was most active.
Treat it as a strong index with variable freshness rather than a live database.
What is the site like technically?
Our check measured a 763ms response on a 1,928KB document — nearly two megabytes of HTML, the second heaviest page we measured in this directory. Response time is acceptable; the payload is not. On a phone that is a real cost, even though the page does declare a mobile viewport.
On compliance, only a 2257 statement surfaced in our scan. DMCA, privacy and terms did not appear; we record that as unconfirmed rather than absent.
Has the rebuild helped?
Yes. The modern version is far more usable than the one people remember from the 2000s — proper navigation, working filters, and profiles that read as pages rather than link lists. The page weight is the cost of that redesign.
Who is FreeOnes for?
