What is XNXX?
XNXX is a free porn tube in the top tier by traffic, running since 1997 and now part of the same group as XVideos. The library runs to millions of videos, mostly user-uploaded, with studio material sitting alongside it. Nothing requires an account.
It is one of the handful of sites that most people arrive at without ever choosing to.
How fast is it, actually measured?
Our check recorded an 802ms response on a 118KB document. For context, that is a fifth the page weight of Tube8 and about a sixth of PornTrex, both of which sit in the same category. The document declares lang="en" and a mobile viewport, so phones get the responsive layout rather than a separate site.
That weight difference is not cosmetic. A tube is a site you open thirty times in a session, and 118KB against 650KB is the difference between a page that appears and a page that arrives.
What did the ad scan find?
Nothing. Our check looks for ten known adult advertising networks in the page source and found none of them on XNXX. That is unusual at this scale — Tube8 carries ExoClick and TrafficJunky, YouJizz and PornGO carry ExoClick, and the TXXX network carries two.
Read that precisely: it means no third-party ad network was detected in the HTML we read. Advertising you see while browsing may still be served first-party or injected later by script. It is a real signal, not a promise of a clean experience.
Is it above board?
Our check confirmed a 2257 statement, privacy policy and terms of service on the live site. A DMCA policy did not surface in the same scan; we record that as unconfirmed rather than absent.
How good is the library?
Enormous and shallow in organisation, which is the standing trade of every tube this size. Search works, tags work, and the related-video column is better than most. What is missing is any editorial layer: nothing tells you which upload of a scene is the complete one, and duplicates of popular material run deep.
Quality ranges from studio-grade down to phone footage, with no reliable way to filter by that in advance.
Where does it fall short?
The interface is dated and has been for years — dense thumbnails, small type, a layout that predates the current design consensus. Video quality is inconsistent because the sources are. And like every large tube, some of what is uploaded is redistributed without the rights holder's permission; the takedown process exists but runs behind the uploads.
Should you use XNXX?
As a free tube it is among the best available, and the measurements are the reason: it is the fastest and lightest of the giants, and the only one of them where our scan found no ad network. Judge it against XVideos and Pornhub, not against a paid studio.
