What is Boodigo?
Boodigo is an adult-only search engine launched in 2014 by people who worked in the industry. It crawls adult sites exclusively and returns results without the filtering, demotion or personalisation that mainstream engines apply to explicit queries. It logs nothing and builds no user profile.
The interface is deliberately minimal — a search box and results, nothing else.
Why use it instead of a mainstream engine?
Because mainstream engines treat adult queries as a problem to be managed. Results get filtered, demoted or replaced with safe alternatives, and what you searched for becomes part of a profile attached to your account. Boodigo removes both behaviours: it returns what you asked for, and it does not remember you asked.
For a category where search history is unusually sensitive, that second point is the real one.
How good are the results?
Relevant for common queries and thin for obscure ones. The index is far smaller than a mainstream engine's — this is a specialist crawler, not a general one — and freshness lags on fast-updating sites. For a performer name or a well-established site you get what you need; for something genuinely rare you often will not.
How fast is it?
This is the one measurement that surprised us. The page is essentially nothing — our check recorded a 4KB document, the smallest in this directory by an order of magnitude — yet took 1,578ms to first byte. So the slowness is server-side, not payload: there is very little to download, and you still wait.
Once results render, the minimal interface makes browsing quick.
What about compliance documents?
Our scan found none of the four we look for — no 2257, DMCA, privacy or terms surfaced. On a 4KB search page that is unsurprising: there is barely any HTML for links to live in, and they are almost certainly on other routes. We record it as unconfirmed rather than absent.
Is Boodigo worth using?
As the privacy-respecting option for adult search, yes, and there is no real competitor for that specific claim. Just know the index is smaller and the server is slow to respond.
