What is 9xbuddy?
9xbuddy is an online video downloader: you paste a page URL, it resolves the underlying media and gives you a direct download in whatever resolutions it finds. It is not adult-specific — it handles mainstream video sites too — but it works on most large tubes, which is why it appears in this category at all.
There is nothing to install and no account to create.
What did we measure?
A 1,061ms response on a 21KB document — a genuinely minimal page, which is what a tool like this should be. The document declares lang="en" and a mobile viewport, and the interface is a single input box with a button.
Our scan detected no advertising network in the page source, which for a free utility in this category is better than the norm.
Is it above board?
Our check found none of the four compliance documents we look for. On a 21KB page there is very little HTML for footer links to occupy, so we record that as unconfirmed rather than absent — the same treatment we give any minimal page.
For a tool rather than a content site, the more relevant question is not 2257 but what downloading does to the rights position, and that has nothing to do with what the tool publishes.
Does it actually work?
On most large tubes, yes, and reliably enough that it is the tool people keep bookmarked. It offers multiple resolutions where they exist and a direct file rather than a redirect chain. Where it fails is sites with aggressive protection or token-signed media URLs, and it fails silently rather than explaining why.
Expect a hit rate, not a guarantee.
What should you actually think about before using it?
What you are downloading. A creator's own upload on a tube is one thing; a studio scene someone re-uploaded is another, and pulling a file from a paid platform you subscribe to is a third with its own terms attached. The tool does not distinguish, and neither does the law based on how convenient the tool was.
Several platforms in this directory — SexLikeReal, BadoinkVR, Adult Empire — include downloads as part of what you pay for, which is the version of this that comes with permission.
Should you use 9xbuddy?
As a utility it is clean, light, free and free of detected advertising, which is more than most of its competitors manage. Whether using it is fine depends entirely on the URL you paste, and that part is yours.
