What is Arousr?
Arousr is a paid sexting platform where users buy credits and spend them on text conversations, picture requests, voice notes and video calls with independent operators. There is no subscription feed, no timeline and no community layer.

Why is that clearer than a creator platform?
Because on a creator platform the subscription buys the feed and the messages cost extra, which people routinely misunderstand — they pay for access and then discover that the thing they actually wanted is metered on top.
Arousr removes the ambiguity by removing the subscription. Everything is metered, the meter is visible, and there is nothing else on offer. That is a worse business model and a more honest transaction.
Who is on the other end?
Independent operators working for a share of what you spend. This is worth being clear about: it is a paid interaction with someone doing a job, not a relationship that happens to cost money, and the platform's structure — credits, per-message billing, upsell prompts — is designed to extend sessions.
That is not a criticism of the operators, who are working within the incentives the platform set. It is a caution about the incentives.
What we could not verify
Our automated check was refused with a 403 by an anti-bot layer. We therefore have no measured response time, page weight, ad-network scan or confirmation of compliance documents, and the page carries no "last checked" date.
For a platform handling payments and independent operators, the compliance result is the thing we would most have wanted, and we do not have it.
How does the money work?
Credits bought in packs, spent per message, per picture and per minute of video. Free credits are commonly offered on signup, which is a funnel entry rather than a sample — the rates once those are gone are where the real cost sits.
Read the per-unit rates before spending, because the credit currency makes them harder to compare than they should be.
Should you use it?
If paid conversation is specifically what you want, Arousr is more honest about selling exactly that than platforms which bundle it behind a subscription. Budget deliberately: per-message billing on an open-ended conversation is the easiest way to spend more than you meant to in this entire directory.
